Identifying Sources

As you work toward this goal, you will learn to distinguish between primary, secondary and tertiary sources, develop skills for locating scholarly articles, and identify the generic conventions of different disciplinary approaches. You will likely find that as your number and variety of sources increases, your strategies for discovering more will change.
